If you are free on a Thursday afternoon and

of a very warm welcome. Each week we have
a visiting speaker who explains a passage

familiar hymns as well as sharing other items
of interest. Refreshments are served following

Toddlers
Together |
|
|
|
|
| |
We meet every
Wednesday 10am-12noon during term-time. All children under 5 years, parents and
carers are welcome.
Toddlers Together is run by volunteers and therefore we ask adults to be responsible for
their own children at all times. (Please don't bring your children along if they are unwell).
The sessions are informal with a large variety of toys and equipment.
We meet in the Main Hall, but in the warmer Summer months we often spill out onto the large grassed area at the rear of the site.
We break for drinks and biscuits, for which we charge a nominal fee of £1 per family.
Toddlers Together is run by members of the church who all have a personal faith
in Jesus Christ.
We hope you enjoy your time with us.

Football |
|
|
|
|
| |
Funtasy
Football is fortnightly Saturday morning football activity
where players of all abilities from school years 3 - 11
inclusive are very welcome. The emphasis is on enjoyment
without pressure but we also stress the importance of
good behaviour and good sportsmanship in addition to good
play. The usual venue is in Woodthorpe Road, Ashford,
starting at around 9.30 am and finishing by about 11.30
am. There is an opportunity to play in competitive tournaments
twice a year through ACC's membership of YFC Covies as
well as occasional friendlies with teams from other local
churches. |

Christianity Explored
|
|
|
|
|
| |
What is God like? How can I know He's there? What might it mean to follow Jesus?
Christianity Explored is a course for anyone asking these or similar questions.
Whether you've never been to church before or have been going to church for years,
Christianity Explored provides an opportunity to look more closely at these issues.
Courses last for seven weeks and are designed to be relaxed, informative and helpful.
Each week there is a presentation on one key element of the Christian message,
and plenty of time for discussion and questions.
Christianity Explored Invite: In Acrobat
pdf (205k)
This Autumn we are providing two different opportunities to join a course.
On Thursdays, there are two separate courses, a daytime one and an
evening one. These both start on 20th September and run at 10:00am and
7:30pm respectively.
For winter 2008/9, CE will be running again from the third week of January, on either
the Wednesday &/or Thursday (21st/22nd Jan). (see the December bulletins for more details).
Please
contact us for more information about
the next course or fill in and return the invite.
