| London Men's Convention |
Saturday 29th April |
Come join us on a day out for the guys. How can we be 'real' men in today's society. This years
theme is 'be men of the Spirit.'
"At the London Men's Convention we are committed to supporting local churches in their
unity in truth. So in 2006 we aim to clarify and celebrate the ministry of the Holy
Spirit in our lives and in our churches and in our witness, that we may work together
in proclaiming Christ in the power of His Spirit."
Seminars this year will examine some of the more controversial texts and explore their
practical relevance for daily life. Seminars are: What is praying in the Spirit,
Should we be able to speak in 'tongues', What is 'prophecy' today, What is 'spiritual'
discernment, What does it mean to be 'born again', & What does it mean to be 'filled
with the Spirit'.
